The property was clean and well-maintained, and the communication with the hosts was excellent. the beds were comfortable, and the linens were clean. We also appreciated the convenient location, with a corner store and a grocery store nearby. the cottage was centrally located, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and visit distilleries. the welcome package provided was a lovely touch, and the breakfast that was included was a nice bonus.
While our overall experience was great, there were a few minor drawbacks. the water pressure in the shower was just okay.

We had an amazing stay at Islas Cottage, A Home In the Heart Of Speyside! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the property was well-managed and incredibly clean. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket and the hosts, Forbes and Samantha, were fantastic. They kept in contact with us throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. the cottage itself was modern and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we could ask for. It was also perfectly situated for our needs, with private parking and easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. We can't thank Forbes and Samantha enough for such a wonderful experience. If we ever return to Scotland, we will definitely stay at Islas Cottage without question. Cons: Not obvious to find 😕.

The interior decoration of the cottage was simply delightful. I loved the cozy and warm atmosphere created by the choice of furnishings and colors. It made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained, and I particularly appreciated the beautiful garden where I could relax and enjoy the fresh air. As a senior person, I was pleased to find that the cottage was easily accessible, with no stairs or obstacles that could hinder my mobility.
A better vacation for senior people would be enhanced if there were handrails installed in the bathroom.
